Meet Our Alumni
My school, New Grace English School, has played an instrumental role in shaping who I am today. It was more than just a place of learning—it nurtured us with Islamic values, discipline, and opportunities that fostered holistic growth. The values of compassion, integrity, and resilience guided our character, while academics and extracurriculars helped us discover passions, build friendships, and develop essential skills.
Above all, I am grateful to the dedicated teachers who inspired us to dream big and work hard. I’m delighted to share that I have been accepted into dental school after qualifying for NEET and achieved distinctions in all subjects in my first year. As I continue this journey, I carry with me the values and lessons my school instilled, for which I am deeply thankful.
The reason I strive to learn and grow productively is because of my school—New Grace English School and Jamaluddin Maqbool Junior College—and, most importantly, my teachers and mentors. The morals, values, and role models I gained there shaped my path toward righteousness.
I still recall telling my batchmates that I had studied Arabic, Hindi, Marathi, and English in school, and they were amazed. Our teachers were always supportive, and their dedication continues to inspire us to give back to the community. I’m especially grateful to our Principal, Mrs. Fareha Ma’am, our Chairman, Mr. Zakiuddin Sir, our Vice Principal, Mrs. Amrin Ma’am, along with Atiya Ma’am, Saleha Ma’am, and all my teachers for their constant guidance. Even today, I can reach out to them whenever needed. Truly, I am a proud Gracian.
After completing my schooling at New Grace English School, I pursued science at Poona College (11th–12th), followed by a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Business Administration (IT) from PIMSE, both with First Class Distinction.
Along the way, I earned certifications including Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator (AZ-104), and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400). Currently, I serve as a DevOps Consultant at Pansoft Technologies, working with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure, as well as Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and IT management.
I remain deeply grateful to New Grace English School for providing the foundation that has shaped my academic and professional journey.
New Grace English School taught me that wearing a hijab is not a hindrance but a source of strength in pursuing one’s dreams. I, Shaikh Fatima Zuber, am forever grateful to the late Mr. Jamaluddin Sir (May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdous) for giving me the opportunity to study here. The Islamic values and quality education provided by our Chairman, Principal, Vice Principal, and all the dedicated staff instilled in me confidence and belief in myself.
Though I was once an average student, I never gave up. I completed my 12th Science at Jamaluddin Maqbool Junior College and, Alhamdulillah, I am now in my third year of B.Sc B.Ed. My teachers take pride in my progress, which motivates me further.
As it is said, the most important day of education is the first day of school, not graduation day. I am blessed that my first step was at New Grace English School, and I will always remain a proud Gracian.
I still remember stepping into college and realizing how much New Grace had shielded us from the negative influences of the world. Alhamdulillah, the values and guidance instilled by our teachers prepared me to remain steadfast as a Muslimah and not be swayed by worldly temptations.
Through debates, cultural events, community service, and leadership opportunities, NGES gave me the platform to discover hidden talents and build lasting confidence. More than academics, it taught us to pursue our passions while nurturing the qualities of the Sahaba and striving to be good human beings.
New Grace English School laid the foundation not only for academic growth but also for a purposeful and meaningful life, and for that, I am forever grateful.
I am Subhan Abdus Salam, and I am truly honored to be sharing my thoughts as an alumnus.
My educational journey began right here, where I completed my 10th standard at New Grace English School in 2017. I continued my studies within the same campus, graduating from Jamaluddin Maqbool Junior College in 2019.
I am currently working as a Senior Architect at a leading firm in the Middle East. This professional path, which requires a blend of creative vision and rigorous discipline, was set firmly in motion by the values and academic foundation I received from both institutions.
The unwavering support and excellent academic environment provided by New Grace English School and Jamaluddin Maqbool Junior College were instrumental in shaping my career. My time here wasn’t just about passing exams; it was about fostering critical thinking and professional discipline, which are now core to my work in architecture. The dedicated teachers and supportive atmosphere laid the groundwork for my global success, equipping me with the resilience and intellectual curiosity required to thrive.
My name is Danish Rafique Shaikh, proud alumnus of the Batch of 2016. Completing my 10th grade at New Grace laid the foundation for the values and discipline that continue to guide me today.
After leaving school, I pursued Mechanical Engineering, but along the way discovered a deep passion for Information Technology and Cybersecurity. Following this calling, I shifted my career into IT, one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve made. I later completed my MBA in Information Technology, strengthening both my technical and managerial mindset.
Today, I work at Microsoft as a Security Operations Engineer, contributing to safeguarding digital environments in a rapidly evolving world.
One belief that has stayed with me since my school days is:
“Hard work really beats talent.”
To all the students of New Grace:
Your path may change, your interests may evolve, and that’s perfectly okay. Stay curious, stay consistent, and always believe in the power of your effort. The values I learned at New Grace continue to shape my journey, and I hope they guide yours too.
